Soumya completed her Bachelor's degree in Mass Media from Mumbai University, gaining her skill in effective communication. She pursued her LLB at VPM's TMC Law College, Thane, and completed a certified course in Legal Drafting from KC Law College, Mumbai. During her college years, she actively participated in debates.
Soumya is enrolled as an Advocate since the year 2020 with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa. After her graduation, Soumya started her career at Pre Litis Services adeptly handling a diverse array of civil and criminal cases for over a year.
Building upon her expertise, Soumya further honed her skills as a criminal defence lawyer during her tenure at M/s. Nankani and Associates where she dealt with intricate matters pertaining to the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 and Prevention of Corruption Act, 2018.
Soumya now regularly represents clients before Magistrate Courts, Sessions Courts, and the Bombay High Court and further assists them at local police stations.
